So I have been feeling a little under the weather for a couple days now and I didn't work out yesterday at all. But now I also am having some pain in my right hip and right knee. I don't know where this pain came from. I saw my chiropractor yesterday for an adjustment, but the pain is still there. I am definitely not going to run today or tomorrow because of this.
I am seriously bummed, though. Things have been going so well with the training until this week. I hate setbacks of any kind, but understand that it's part of life. I just hope I am feeling up to running this weekend. If not, I'll just have to wait until next week, I guess.

I feel your pain - literally - as I have been dealing with this stupid hamstring/popliteal tendon issue for upwards of 6 weeks now. Any kind of setback is so, so hard. I hope this is nothing major, and that all you need is a few days rest....

I hope you heal up quickly. You might want to do some cross-training to try and even things out. I know that in the past when I have focussed solely on running has been when I have had injuries. Mostly, mine have come from muscle imbalances. A good physical therapist can tell you if it doesn't go away quickly.
