My Craigslist love affair began a couple weeks ago with the purchase of Matty's adorable new toddler bed.
And since then, it's just gotten more intense.
First, I listed Matty's old crib on Craigslist and got an offer the next day. The only caveat is she asked me to hold the crib until this Friday, when she gets paid. I said sure, so this Friday I'll be getting the crib out and some money in my pocket.
Today I listed some more stuff on CL. One item, a set of three stacking tables, had three offers within a couple hours. I ended up giving the first person who responded dibs on it. He drove more than 30 minutes one-way to pick them up. And he paid me $5 more than what I was asking!! How cool is that? Tonight, I got two emails about another one of my listings, so hopefully tomorrow I'll have another item officially sold.
It feels good to get rid of the things we no longer use, especially since I am making a little extra cash!

I bought Cora a daybed on CL back in the beginning of August. It came with a trundle and matteress for the trundle. I've yet bought a matteress for the bed or set it up for her.
CL sounds great. I really should check it out!!
Great idea!
I looked for rentals on Craigslist when we moved here. They also post a lot of jobs on there. I have never sold anything though. I should think about that.
Craig's list is great! We have sold a lot of stuff on it. We just sold a ton of stuff by having garage sales, made like $1,400! But, for things like Ava's crib, I plan on going the CL route, it's great!
Sounds great that you found some easy $$
