Just when it looked like the kids were on the mend, Matty had to go and throw up again this morning.
I went into his room to get him up to take Kara to school, and there was vomit all over the floor. He is probably lying in some as we speak. I decided at the last minute to keep Kara home from school today because of all the vomiting and the fact that now I'm not convinced it's not a stomach flu.
Guess a call to the doctor will be in order today.....

I took Matty to the doctor today, and she said it is the stomach flu. Apparently it is spreading like wildfire around here right now. It is probably what caused Kara to throw up, also. Matty has definitely been hit the hardest by it, as he now has terrible diarrhea, as well. Poor guy. So we basically just have to wait for it to pass. Bummer.
I used to be an athlete. In high school, I was on the track team. In college, I was a varsity rower. But then life happened. I graduated from college in 1998, got my first real job and started slacking in the exercise department. Add two kids and a few extra pounds and I was unhappy. In November 2006 I started running again as a way to shed some weight and get some much-needed "me time". And now I am back in school to pursue a career in nursing. Here's my journey.

Oh you poor thing. Usually they are pretty quick about getting rid of it and over it. I have no idea what could be lingering so long. Hang in there. I am so sorry you are having to go through this.
I do not know weather to feel sorry for them or you. As a parent that has cleaned up many SPILLS, I think I will go with you.
