Woo hoo!!
We just booked (most of) our trip to Disneyland!!
Tim and I are going in mid-May. My parents will be watching the kids during that time.
We reserved our flight and hotel room today. All we have to buy are the park hopper tickets, but I figure that can wait until we get closer to our trip date. Unless I find an awesome deal before then, that is. :-) Looks like our flight will be the cheapest part of the trip. Who would've thunk it??
Note to my mom: After reading hotel reviews for hours, we decided on the Best Western Anaheim Inn, not the one I told you about over the phone. This one got good reviews, was priced right and is directly across from the park. The other one was a little cheaper, but got awful reviews. I don't want to stay in a hotel where people have complained of bugs and dirty rooms!
I am so excited!!!!! We haven't had a real vacation in several years. I hope to take Kara to Disneyland within the next few years (Matty will have a wait a few years after that, poor kiddo), so this will give us a better idea on how old she should be before we take her. I haven't been to Disneyland in more than 11 years, so the memory is a little foggy, but I know she's too young right now to go on the rides we want to. Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain come to mind.
I am supposed to ride the bike. It is now late, since I spent so much time researching for the trip and booking things, so I don't know if I want to work out now. If I do, I will come back and post my stats. If not, well, guess you will see me later. LOL!
OK, I rode the stationary bike after all. It wasn't great, but at least I did something. I will try a run tomorrow if the weather isn't crap (like it has been for days now).
Today's stats:
Bike:
Time: 30 minutes
Distance: 7.82 miles

Gosh Michelle, Isaac just loved, loved, loved Disney. He went on a ton of rides and had the time of his life! There is so much for that age to do. Everything from Playhouse Disney to Pooh Bear.
BTW, I am so glad you guys get to go! It's also the perfect date spot and I think you will have a fantastic time!
I hear ya, we all need that time away every now and then! Sounds like so much fun!!
That is so exciting. You will have a great time.
I have never been to Disneyland. But my kids have - without me. I have driven by, does that count?
Ah, wish I was going to Disneyland :-) Do they have a marathon there?
Oh that will be so much fun. I'm glad you can do it!!
