Out with the old

I have (finally) changed the name of this here blog. I was getting SO tired of the old name, but didn't know where I wanted to go with it. I think the new name sums it up nicely, as I will NEVER have a body (or speed) of an elite runner, although my heart says I am a runner nonetheless.

So I was able to sneak in a short recovery run tonight. I have been surrounded by sick kids all day (including one I was babysitting), so the break was nice. My legs sure felt funky the first mile or so. After they warmed up, all was good.

Not much else to share right now. I am thinking of doing a seven-miler this weekend, since I feel I need to work on that distance before I move forward again. Plus, now that I've done nine, seven should feel like a cake walk! :-)

Today's stats:
Run:
Distance: three miles
Time: 33:13
Pace: 11:03 minute/mile

Ahhh, I love that new name. So cute. Although you are way skinny in pics. I think you look awesome.

7 is good, you are a 9athoner now. Just do your same prep, nutrition, hydration all that. I have fallen in to the trap of thinking it will be easier and then not prepping like I should. Luckily, you are probably smarter than me!!

The new name works perfectly for you. As for the seven, that should feel easy, you are a runner.
