Runnin', runnin', runnin'

Finally got out for another very short run tonight. Believe it or not, it was faster than Tuesday night's jaunt. I am setting my sights on a sub-20-minute two-miler, baby!

I would write more now, but I have to get dinner. I will just pose one question before I sign off: why is my nose horribly stuffy all the time, except when I am running? I don't want to have to run all day just to breathe normally!

Today's stats:
Run:
Distance: two miles
Time: 20:15
Pace: 10:07 minute/mile

Another great run! Great to hear it, speedy. Hope classes are going equally well.

Blood is circulating faster when you are running, and your body needs air in. The tissues in your legs, feet, and arms ask for more fluid. All of a sudden, you can breathe! Just keep running...all the time. :-)

Do you have allergies? Maybe you need to try some Zyrtec or something like that? Or just run all the time like you said. :>)

What a fabulous motivator! Run all day so your nose will dry up.

My nose issues are a big part of my problem dealing with acid reflux. There is a steroid produced naturally in your sinuses that thins the mucus out. Physical activity and andrenaline stimulate the production (and cold air helps too :-)

Good luck getting in that sub-20 two miler!! You can do it!!
