I am frustrated

Here I sit, feeling miserable and losing my voice.

My chest is all scratchy, and I generally feel ill.

And I have a race on Saturday. And it's raining buckets outside and will likely still be raining on race day.

What to do??

I really don't want to miss this race. I am hoping I feel better by Saturday and can tough it out. I have been looking forward to it since I completed this race last year.

Of course, if I still feel crap-crap-crappy on Saturday morning, I will probably not go. I am not happy about that thought.

I haven't worked out since Friday because of this illness. I was starting to feel better until last night. I hope this phase is short-lived.

So cross your fingers for me, everyone. I need all the luck I can get.

Repeat races are awesome... but making yourself sicker is less than awesome :-) Hope you feel better, and it quits raining, and your get to race!!

Have not heard from you in many days, was starting to wonder what was going on...Maybe you were blogging on another network or something... Being sick seems to be going around blogville quite a bit lately. Hope you feel better and the rain stops soon.

I feel your pain, except I don't have a race tomorrow morning. Hubby does and he's sick too. We'll see. If you're not better, probably a better idea to stay in. Otherwise, you'll either push yourself harder than normal to try to PR or something and make yourself worse. possibly. Hope you get better soon!

I'm in practically the same boat, except I'm expecting cold and sunny tomorrow. I hope I feel less dookie-ish tomorrow morning. Though I'm just thick-headed enough to run it no matter how I feel because I don't want to "waste" the $25 entrance. Silly, huh?
