There were lots of questions following today's run.
How fast did I run? What were my splits? Exactly how far was it?
Well, I have a good idea on the last question, but the others will forever go unanswered.
That's because my buddy Garmin stopped working right before I started running.
I guess I forgot to charge it, and the silly thing just ran out of juice. Of course, it was working during my warm-up walk. Oh well.
That's all for today. My parents just got here following a six-hour drive and I need to hop in the shower so we can go out to dinner.

I used to be an athlete. In high school, I was on the track team. In college, I was a varsity rower. But then life happened. I graduated from college in 1998, got my first real job and started slacking in the exercise department. Add two kids and a few extra pounds and I was unhappy. In November 2006 I started running again as a way to shed some weight and get some much-needed "me time". And now I am back in school to pursue a career in nursing. Here's my journey.

Sometimes those unanswered runs are the best kind...and sometimes you just want the &%&$# gizmo to tell you what you want to know!!
