Tired of being surrounded by sickness

Can't a girl get a break?

Kara came home from preschool today with a fever, complaining that she wasn't feeling well. Last night she had a nosebleed, but I really didn't think anything of it. She's still on antibiotics for the ear infection, but I am wondering now if a virus is attacking her.

Right now, every single person in this house is on antibiotics. I am so sick of taking these damn horse pills twice a day. And I'm totally ready to be done with medicating the kids. They have two more days left on their regimen. For the first time in years, I am praying for spring to start and winter to get the hell out of town.

Anyway, it rained on and off today, but I managed a short run this evening. My freakin' tibialis anterior muscle (call me anatomy nerd) on both legs was cramping a bit though. Total suckage. I need to stretch and ice it, I guess. I am planning to do a long run tomorrow, and I really don't want to run in pain. Crossing my fingers that the wheels feel better tomorrow!

Today's stats:
Run:
Distance: two miles
Time: 21:59
Pace: 10:59 minute/mile

Oh Gawd, the sickness realy wears on the mommy. It is awful. I'm sorry you are going through all this. Hopefully, everyone is done for the season.

Hope the test went well. Good luck with the HM training. This will be your first, right? I did 8 today, thought I might possibly die, but I'm still here to talk about it!! You can do it!!!! :D

(((HUGS))) I'm so sorry chica! I completely understand. I was telling Mendy and David the other day that this winter has been by far the worst for me(and the fam) in terms of sickness. It's someone is always sick. Ugghhhhh. Hang in there!
